A small project that I designed to improve the use of my room. Books needed a place and a lot of stuff was stored in shoeboxes. The design was based on this and the chimney where it is built around. The construction works on tension and compression. Where the wooden plates on the sides work on tension, the plates in the middle work on compression. This way the shelve stays in balance. Leftover panels and screws where used so the project would have a low impact on the environment and cost.
